Green Dream Site
Developed with Wordpress this is a good example of how wordpress can be used more as a content management system than a simple blog. The client will enjoy all the back end user experience that wordpress offers in a highly customized interface.
The site is an online shop with a blog with some extra sections to show the different areas where Green Dream operates.
The interface wants to reduce all that content in an organic way where all the elements, white spaces and navigation objects flow in search of maximum readibility.
The site is a custom wordpress development, integrating the online shop, among other corporate sections.
Different plugins were created to achieve some goals. The recent readed posts plugin shows in a submenu label the last readed post, and a interactive shop update is done via synchronization between wordpress and the client internal stock management system. Also we created some modules to manage shipping rules, discounts and payment gateways.
The site is coded using w3c standards, and creates a valid XHTML and CSS all across the site.
