Filipinos Buen Rollo TV
"We make the cookies and you make the ad" was the claim of Filipinos Buen Rollo TV. With this "user generated content" concept the plataform received hundred of thousand visits per month and hundreds of videos were uploaded. After a first edition in 2005 a second one followed during 2006 getting even more popular and hitting the spot on user participation.
Users were uploading original and creative videos and the Filipinos Community were voting them. The most popular videos earned his subsequent prize.
The site was powered with PHP and MySQL and supported a multi back end with diferent levels of specific privileges for all the third parties involved, creating a platform to control and approve the publication of videos when different legal requirements were achieved.
The promotion ran in two different countries, Spain and Portugal, two independent platforms for different contests, with the same features and administrations tools.
