Bimanán Website

Bimanán wanted to create a elastic platform to start to build a solid Internet Identity offering a wast range of services to their consumers while promoting different insights.

The site is a structured container of different information and with different levels of user interaction. The interface performs in a clean space, ordering the different blocks in a natural position and repeating the same structures across the content to increase readability with a smooth navigation flow, a goal in this project because of the large extension of information and a wide range of functionalities in this project.

The site offer corporate and brand philosophy information, a deep grade of product information, latest news and some cool and productive features like an autotest, IMC and Calories Calculator, a service to send questions to nutrition experts and to send personalized diet petitions.

Some of the features are available for free and some through user registration with different levels of interaction. A section orientated to profesionals is available performing different services such as a contests for pharmacies or profesional related info.

All the services are managed through an Admin Area, were the administrator can track all the activities and manage all the petitions.

The site is coded using XHTML, CSS, Javascript and MySQL, a rationally use of Flash along the site in some banners or ads and taking special attention about semantics. THe result is a fully indexed site that uses valid code in all the pages.

The project has being growing since it's release proving that using standard practices and designing flexible layouts is a must when you work on long term projects.
