Blog Scorsese y Freixenet
Freixenet changed the direction of their traditional Christmas TV Ad into a new concept. This time Martin Scorsese will make a short film tributing Alfred Hitchcock to give a Merry Christmas with Freixenet.
JWT, the agency behind the strategy, wanted to support the campaign from the internet. The complete version of the film will be released on the internet while a short version will be available through TV ads.
The agency, advancing the repercussion that the campaign will achieve, wanted to create a channel to communicate with consumers about the film.
Creating a blog from where to follow all the campaign and providing background information about the film, director, actors and production allowing readers to comment about.
We set up a platform with Wordpress, customizing it to fit our need and worked with a team of redactors to publish around fifty post during to months.
The blog generated a big response with massive participation of users through comments and poll questions, getting thousands of visits and hundred thousands of page views during the 2 months of activity.
